What AtMeety is
AtMeety is a free web-based meeting facilitation tool that lets an organiser build a timed agenda and run it live on a presenter screen, with attendees joining from their own devices without an account.
It lives at atmeety.com. The organiser builds the agenda ahead of time, then runs it from a presenter screen while everyone else follows along on their own device. That is the whole shape of the product.
Why it exists
Most meetings lose the first ten minutes to people trickling in and small talk that nobody planned. Then the agenda, if there is one, sits in a calendar invite that nobody opens. The loudest person sets the direction. The quiet ones stay quiet. At the end, someone says "I will follow up" and the actions evaporate.
None of that is a people problem. It is a structure problem, and structure is fixable. A countdown on screen changes when people arrive. A timed go-around changes who gets heard. An action list built during the meeting, rather than remembered after it, changes what actually happens next week.
AtMeety is deliberately small. There is no rollout, no training, no workflow to migrate. You can use one piece of it, like the lobby countdown, and ignore the rest until you want it. Read more about how the phases fit together on the features page.
Who builds it
AtMeety is built by Sander Knotnerus, working from the Netherlands. It started as a fix for his own recurring meetings and grew into the tool you see here.
He also writes most of what appears on the blog.
